As you see the website has now a brand new logo.I got this made by a friend who owns digitalorchard.ie witch is a great site if your starting a website,business.It gives nice tips using twitter and how to use Iphones etc

I think the look of a website is one of the most important things because if something is ugly you are not going to have any interest with but I reckon with this logo its looks more like what we need.

U.S. Army Officials Visit Apple Campus as Agency Weighs Purchasing and Development Plans

The U.S. Army yesterday announced that several top officials in its technology command visited Apple’s Cupertino headquarters earlier this month to begin a dialogue as the Army seeks to take advantage of both Apple’s products and engineering ideas to help satisfy its needs.

Maj. Gen. Nick Justice, Research, Development and Engineering Command commanding general and key members of his staff traveled to Apple headquarters March 5.

Apple officials gave the Army group tours of its laboratories and other facilities and talked about some examples of where the military is already using Apple technology. The Army’s research and development command is evaluating commercial hand-held solutions such as iPad, iPhone, iPod, iMac, and MacBook platforms.

“The Army is moving away from big-green-box solutions and toward those that will adapt along with our warfighters on the battlefield,” Justice said.

In particular, the Army has been looking at how cellular technologies can be leveraged on a tactical basis on the battlefield to assist troops in their endeavors. According to Army representatives, the military is looking to take advantage of Apple’s reputation for building intuitive devices and software that require little training to operate and to not only take advantage of Apple’s existing efforts but also apply lessons learned by Apple to the Army’s own development projects.

The U.S. Army has increasingly been incorporating Macs into its systems as it seeks to diversify its platforms in the face of growing cybersecurity threats. As a high-volume customer with specific technological needs, it also represents an important potential partner for Apple as it strives to continue its sales and earnings growth.

9 Days Till The Ipad

It’s been about 2 months or less since apple told us about the new Ipad and many people are looking forward to getting one. Honestly I think by the sounds and looks of it, it’s a useless fat Iphone that you can’t call or text people with.So then whats the point in getting one?

Your money would be smarter spent towards an Iphone 3Gs witch is from today on being sold in Vodafone Ireland.But mayb Im wrong as I havnt touched one yet.

I think they are going for about $400.00 witch is the same as the Iphone 3Gs.So when you get your post a comment on your first taughts and leave us a Rating.

The iTunes Store, formerly iTunes Music Store is a software-based online digital media store operated by Apple Inc. Opening as the iTunes Music Store on April 28, 2003, with over 200,000 items to purchase, it is, as of April 2008, the number-one music vendor in the United States.On 24 February 2010, the store served its 10 billionth song download; this major milestone being reached in just under seven years of being online.While most downloaded files have previously included restrictions on their use, enforced by FairPlay, Apple’s implementation of digital rights management, iTunes initiated a shift into selling DRM-free music in some countries, marketed as iTunes Plus.

Weekly promotions

There is a weekly promotion in which one to three songs are available to download for free to logged-in users. Free downloads are available on Tuesdays, and remain free until the following Tuesday.

Some artists choose to have select songs available for no charge. This is not available at all iTunes Stores. Some iTunes television programs have begun the same technique to encourage brand loyalty; although those stay longer. 10 Must Have Apps For Iphone 3Gs

1. DocOnOne -Award winning radio documentaries from Ireland. On this irish made iPhone App, I found a great George Best 41 minute long story the day he was buried. Search for ‘George Best’ using the app’s search tool.

2. ArroundMe – Give them your location and they will find all the hot spots around you. This is a great app if you are away from home.

3. Taxifee – Give them your location and they will give you the number of every Taxi around you and the rating past customers have gave them.

4. Thermometer – Find the temperature of the room you are in. I find this app fun.

5. Engadget – Find all the tech news daily mostly new phones and apple news. When phones are being released for example.

6. Mashable - Same as Engadget but i find this one better. It has more news including many videos for each of the daily news.

7. Evernote – A place were you can take down little note if you have a big list for the weekly shopping all you would have to do is pull out your Iphone and you list is there looking at you.

8. Social Networking sites - Bebo,Facebook,Skype,Twitterrific and WordPress-If you want to keep in contact with your friends and keep uploading posts to your blog like I do.

9. IMDb - Reviews on the news Flims and TV shows.So you wont go waisting your money buy going to a flim in witch you herd nothing about.

10. Google - This app i think is the best web browser apart for the great Safari.There are many of these but there are only two good ones in my eyes are there these two.

If you have just started your own Twitter account and you are wondering why people are not following you.I’m going to tell you how to attract people to do so.

It may look bad but its only the likes of Jay Z,Bill Gates for example really famous people don’t need to do this.Spend a bit every day Following people you are trying to attract for example if you have a Apple website and you want to start a twitter search at the top of the page”find people” and type Apple,Iphone,Ipad,Mac etc and follow all them so that when they see that you have followed them they might give you a thanks and follow you back.I do this and now when people follow me follow them back.

Hope this works for you.I’m just new to twitter so when I have any more tips i’ll share it.

Manchester United 2-1 Liverpool

This was the game in witch we were all looking forward to for the past few weeks.

The match started of looking to go liverpool’s way with Torres getting a goal in the fifth minute with a great header but poor defence by Manchester United.Liverpool as the game went on were lacking in good passes but Manchester United were growing as the game went on.In the 20th minutes Valencia was making his self into the box put pulled down by Liverpool midfeilder Mascherano.It was the taking point of the half because he won the peno but 50/50 of the people watching the game agreed and disagreed.My view was he was pulling his out side the box but when he let go he taped Valencia’s ankle.

Before the peno was taking Torres walked over and kicked up the spot with no talk by the referee!Rooney missed the peno but was there for a tap in witch made the derby 1-1.The rest of the first have was 50/50 with both teams not playing great.Both midfeilds were poor but Flecther was in great form for the“Red Devils”.

Second half and Liverpool looked like they were playing for the draw with Manchester United playing the better football.Park started to play working his socks off!The goal came soon with 20 minutes left with a great ball from flecther and a diving header from Park.Supper finish!

Steven Gerard didn’t really do a thing for the whole match and didn’t do a thing in the last 8 minutes witch is very unlike him.He looks like a man who dosn’t want to be at Anfeild any more.

Manchester United Vs Liverpool

Yes its the time of the year when these two big titans come together and battle it of to give one sides fans the power of “banter”.

Manchester United are at home (Old Trafford) were Liverpool beat them 4-1 last season and doing the double over them.Liverpool I think its fare to say have no chance in the league but Manchester United do.I think if Manchester United jump past this hurdle the league will be coming back home for 4 years in a row.

If Manchester United play a 4-5-1 i think its going to be a big big win for them because they will clearly tear the Liverpool midfield apart!And of corse leave Rooney up front by him self,there is no stoping him!Ryan Giggs was on Sky Sports News yesterday showing how much the lads are going for this head first,this is always the game of the season for Manchester And Mersiside!

And Steven Gerard should be suspended for lashing out in a previous match just live what Rio Ferdinand did to a Hull player but no they only suspend Manchester United players only because they know we will do damage if we can keep our starting 11 out for every game.

I think Im going to predict a Manchester United 3-0 win,Liverpool won there two last matchs and they think they are on the way back for a good run but I see Manchester United ruining that!

Thursday Night Channel 5 i bet you will hear the Manchester United fans chat!

Msn For Mac

When I first got my Mac I was a little bit pissed of that I couldn’t download Windows Live Messenger because its not Mac compatable.This is a problem with many other software downloads like poker sites etc.I spent a good new months trying out different type of messengers but none were the same.I started up on some of the Mac forums around the net asking some questions and a kind man sent me a link to a different type on Msn download called aMsn.You can use this on Windows and Linux also.

One of my mates prefers aMsn to the normal Msn.You have a good contact list,you can share and receive webcam and at times if your a Mac user the webcam does not seem to work its because of their Msn and you can view theres by downloading an other Msn download call Mercury Messenger. This also works for many different downloads but cam works 99% of the time.On the apple site there is a Windows Live Messenger download but honestly don’t go near it!Total waste of time and Im not the only person to say it.

Amsn is great for me and i hope when you download it you’ll be a happy customer like many others
